Studies under INSPIRE

The Implementation Network for Sharing Population Information from Research Entities (INSPIRE) is a collaboration between research entities to share population information for research purposes. The following are some of the studies under INSPIRE:

OHDSI Vocabularies

The Observational Health Data Sciences and Informatics (OHDSI) Vocabulary provides standard concepts and codes to describe various medical concepts. INSPIRE uses the OHDSI Vocabulary to ensure standardized terminologies across all studies. The OHDSI Atlas system and are also used to facilitate data sharing and interoperability.

The Health and Demographic Surveillance System (HDSS) is a longitudinal health and demographic research platform used by INSPIRE. The following are some of the countries in Africa where HDSS sites are located:
